NAIDOC in the City
NAIDOC in the City is a free celebration of the world’s longest living cultures – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is celebrated by all Australians and is a great opportunity to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The theme for 2022 is ‘Get Up. Stand Up. Show Up’
Take a stroll through Hyde Park north to discover food, song, art, dance and stories in the heart of the city.
The event is presented by Gadigal Information Service Aboriginal Corporation in partnership with the City of Sydney.
